Black Mingo Creek

Black Mingo Creek: Black Mingo Creek is tidal its entire length. Below SC Hwy. 41/51 near Rhems, it is wider and deeper than upstream of the highway and is always deep enough to paddle, even during times of drought. Housing is very sparse along the higher bluffs and shore. It joins the Black River below Browns Ferry.
