Cape Romain Nat. Wildlife Refuge

Cape Romain Nat. Wildlife Refuge: This refuge was established in 1932 to preserve 22 miles of saltwater tidal marshes, bays, and barrier islands along the coast from the Santee River Delta, past McClellanville to Capers Island and the beginning of Charleston / Mt. Pleasant development.
